the major arcana

When it comes to tarot the Major Arcana represents the major influences The Universe has over our lives. The Major Arcana, otherwise known as The Fool’s Journey acts as a blueprint for what to expect as we navigate through this thing we call life. What tarot has taught me more than anything is the power of cause and effect, accountability and faith.

When we pull a Major Arcana we should expect significant change, but we should expect it knowing that everything is always working in our favour, and that we have the power to steer our energies into a direction that aligns with our higher self. With that being said karma and consequence is a sure thing, and the more you read the more aware you’ll become of this.

I have put together a very beginner-friendly user guide to the Major Arcana using the Lisa Sterle’s Modern Witch Tarot, in the hopes that you will gain as much insight as I have reading the cards.

Bear in mind that this does take time. Study what the cards mean historically but also question what they say to you on an intuitive level. All tarot decks have differences so it is up to you to read the illustrations with discernment.

I still struggle at times to read my own cards particularly when it is fear based, so practice reading scenarios other than your own to get a feel ie tv shows, past events etc.

I really hope you enjoy this guide as much as I have enjoyed writing and researching it.

Feel free to book a reading with me to gain insight and advise on where you are on your journey.

Lots and lots of love,

Mimi…
