Now that The Tower has fallen and created the space for new seeds to be planted, our fool must decide what she want her garden to look like.
The Star card represents our hopes and dreams and is usually a great omen for good things to come. In many illustrations there is a naked woman in the center of the card, pouring water into what looks to be two different streams. Behind her are a group of eight stars; a large prominent one in the middle. The water could represent emotions being poured into the earth, letting go of burdens and giving them up to the universe. It is also seen as the conscious and unconscious, reminding us that we are constantly feeding our subconscious mind with our conscious thoughts - good or bad.
Like The Temperance she has one foot on ground and one in the water, signifying that she is both spiritual and grounded. She can’t deny the impact of The Tower, however now more than ever, she needs hope to get through it.
Because this card is centerd around hope it tends to fall out when we’ve been feeling less hopeful than usual. During this time we must pay attention to our literal dreams and the messages they send as our reality can sometimes cloud our judgement. The Star lets us know that we are closer to our dreams then we think, and that all we need the most at this time is to trust that the universe has our back…which it absolutely does.
Of course this card can also represent fame and destiny.
