About the Author

Adriana Ayales is a rainforest herbalist, medicine maker, mother, educator, and owner of Anima Mundi Herbals. Adriana started Animal Mundi in Brooklyn, NY, to bring ancient remedies to the modern world. Her heart’s purpose is to create a true farm-to-pharmacy experience through the art of medicine making, while offering a sustainable system of healing. She was born and raised in Costa Rica and has extensively studied amongst several healing traditions.

About the Artist

Josephine Klerks is an artist, mother, and folk herbalist based in the Swedish woods. She communes and co-creates with Mother Nature through ancient craft, herbalism, motherhood, dreamwork, and painting. She is a passionate believer that restoring our relationship to the Earth is the most potent medicine of our times. Her mixed ancestry of Finnish, Dutch, and Indonesian influences her to reclaim and honour the wisdom that lies deep within the land and cosmos.
