Mood Boosting Supplements

For those of us who aspire to be master manifesters or want to simply live a life that brings us more joy and happiness, it is imperative that we make choices that aid in that, and as quiet as it’s kept what we consume, both internally and externally, (ie content, shows...people) can make a massive impact on how we think and feel thus effecting what we attract.

Now let me be the first to say that I am not by any means great when it comes to eating the food my body needs however, I am partial to a supplement or two…

For this reason I have put together a list that I have found to be incredibly helpful to me. Of course consult your doctor for more information but I hope this list points you in the right direction.

Omega 3

Not only great for the brain and inflammation, it also has a positive affect on our moods. Known to many to come from fish, Omega 3 can also be found in flax seeds, broccoli, walnuts and more!

Most omega 3 derived from fish oils also contain Vitamin A and D which is also mood enhancing and great for skin and eye functions.

Magensium

Mostly found in green, leafy plants, nuts and Epsom salt, magnesium is excellent for the brain and it’s function as well as state of mind. Low magnesium can result in some anxiety and depression so get some by soaking in a nice bath with some salts or of course salads and supplements work too.

Niacin

Also known as B3, niacin is a great source of energy, helps cholesterol, and has even been used to manage psychosis! Great for mental health associated issues.

Please note that it may cause flushes! Some like this sensation but for those that don’t the are flush -free options.

Vitamin D

Like the Sun vitamin D is known to greatly affect our well-being. The best source is the sun but it’s also known to be found in salmon, mushrooms, mackerel, orange juice etc so utilise those options too. Not only is vitamin D great for mood lifting but works wonders for skin as well.
